Microneedling

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves using fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin, stimulating the body’s natural healing process. This encourages the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for maintaining a youthful and firm complexion.

The treatment is commonly used to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, minimise acne scars, and even out skin tone. It can also enhance the absorption of skincare products, making them more effective. Suitable for most skin types, microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment with little downtime, making it a popular choice for those seeking skin rejuvenation.

  • In as few as three sessions, advanced microneedling can:

    • Improve your complexion

    • Reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the neck

    • Diminish the appearance of acne scars

This treatment reveals smooth, healthy skin that glows from within.

    Areas that can be treated:

    • Face

    • Décolletage

    • Body

  • Advanced microneedling creates thousands of microchannels that stimulate your body’s natural wound-healing process while minimizing cellular damage.

This rejuvenates your skin from the inside out, effectively remodeling scar tissue while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact.

Three Phases of the Wound-Repair Process:

    • Phase 1: Inflammation
Piercing the skin triggers your immune system to cleanse the wound, remove debris, increase blood flow, and begin creating new tissue.

    • Phase 2: Proliferation
The wound is rebuilt with new granulation cells, which are part of the extracellular matrix. Additionally, a new network of blood vessels develops.

    • Phase 3: Remodelling
The wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels.
